Alen Rai was a pupil at Happy Days Nursery and after two years he moved on to St. Augustine's School. On 2nd of March, our school year began well, with 24 new pupils resulting from Ann's leafleting and visits to the nearby Bear's Den region (about 8km away from Happy days School) and Khop Mountain. On August 3rd Ann and Brian opened their home and garden for Room to Learn UK’s main fund-raising event. It ensures that Happy Days nursery remains open. The Empowerment of Women project begun by Sabrata Manna had lapsed, so Jenny and Corinna put forward a project for the mums to embroider linen bags, to be sold in England.
